R.C. BROWN INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT PLC (RCBIM) is an institutional and retail investment management company based in Bristol. It is the South West's only independent investment management house of its type.

The Chairman Bob Brown, was a member of the team which successfully built up the investment management business of Phillips & Drew in the late 1960s and 1970s.

Between 1980 and 1990 RCBIM's directors and staff successfully built up the investments of the DRG Pension Fund from £70m to £400m.

RCBIM was created out of the DRG in-house pension investment management team in 1990 when that company was taken over.

RCBIM has the experience, expertise and capacity to manage successfully a much larger client base than the £192m under management as at 31st October 2009. We aim to outperform agreed benchmarks.
